Paxson and Allison share a passion for worship and have been leading and writing worship songs together for over 15 years. Their recording projects include a variety of psalms, hymns, and original worship songs.
They formed Rhythm of Worship in 2003 to provide musical resources, formative teaching, and practical training for the church. These resources and services are available online through their website and onsite by booking them for a worship event, seminars, workshops, or consultation.
Paxson has served as a worship leader in the local church for nearly 20 years. He is currently the Director of Worship at Covenant Church in Palm Bay, Florida. He is the author of The Art of Worship: Opening Our Eyes to the Beauty of the Gospel and a contributor to Speaking the Truth in Love: The Theology of John M. Frame.
He is a graduate of Furman University and Reformed Theological Seminary. He served as an adjunct professor at William Jessup University in the Department of Music and has had articles published by The Gospel Coalition on the arts and theology.
Allison brings a lot of vocal skills to the relationship, with a great ear for harmonies as well as a strong lead vocal. As a co-songwriter she has a gift for being able to strengthen a melody line as well as knowing when to bring "space" to a given lyric. In addition Allison has 13 years of piano and many years of choral training.
Paxson and Allison have led seminars and workshops on songwriting, worship leading, and nurturing artists.Over the years, they have served as worship leaders for a number of national events and have partnered with a variety of ministries and organizations.
Currently, they are leading worship each week in their local church while also partnering with other churches and ministries in central Florida to provide musical resources and spiritual renewal.

You Keep Hope Alive. Paxson and Allison live in West Melbourne, Florida with their two daughters, Laura and Mallory.
